THIS IS OUR THIRD YSG TAKES PEC TRIP AND EACH YEAR WE STRIVE TO KEEP ON GETTING BETTER.

ACCOMMODATIONS at Whispering Pines (7 rooms available) can be purchased here when you book your ticket. They are listed by room, so sharing the room will help you share the cost! Alternatively, you can also purchase a ticket and stay at an Airbnb close by

Frequently asked questions

Where will we meet on Friday?


We will meet at the house at 33 Windatt Lane. Call 647-501-4438 if you get lost.




What should I pack?


Layers! And also some comfy clothes for biking (if the weather cooperates). Otherwise, just pick your favourite wine drinking outfit and pack around that.




Where are we eating?


We'll eat at a great winery on Saturday. Our in house chef Andrea Buckett will cook meals for us, including a delicious lunch on Saturday and dinner on Friday. On Sunday, we'll have a big breakfast at The Drake.




What is included?


The cost of the weekend covers all expenses (including hugs!) except for what you choose to spend personally (so leave your wallet at home...or not in case you need to stock up on your favourite wine,or squeeze in some shopping). So that means all food and drinks (wine and water), all sessions and workshops outlined in the itinerary, the wine tour transportation and tastings are included. Oh and the cherry on top?! The common kitchen will be stocked with some of my favourite snacks and wine for everyone to enjoy




How many people are coming?


We will have around 25 women attending plus all of the ladies leading the various workshops and sessions (showcased on the website).




Is there parking?


Yep! You can park at the house




Do I need my own transportation for the weekend?


Based on feedback from last year we've decided to let people travel to and from PEC at their leisure. If you need a ride, email us at suzanne@yourshopgirl.com and we can help find a seat for you! Carpooling is good for the environment and it gives you a head start on making friends. During the weekend, transportation to destinations on the itinerary will be provided.




Will I have 'free' time to do my own thing?


Yes, we've built in lots of leisure time (you can opt in or out of any of the activities! It is your weekend after all ) and Cribs on the Creek is located in downtown Wellington, walking distance to the shops and restaurants located in that town.




Do I sign up for the sessions and workshops? If so, how?


Once you register you will be asked about which sessions you would like to be apart of. Once we have your preferences we will assign you times. You will be given them when you arrive.




Can I shop with Smithery without signing up for a styling session?


Yes! They will have their racks set up in The Pad as of Friday afternoon and you are welcome to come on over anytime (last year, late night shopping was a very popular!)




I don't like wine. Will this trip be worth it?


In our humble opinion, who doesn't like wine?!!! Wine will be the main beverage served throughout the weekend but we will have beer and cider options throughout. For the complimentary drink at the Hayloft you can choose any drink you like. We can also arrange non alcoholic drinks for anyone that does not drink (I will drink for you).




What if I have a food allergy or tolerance?


Please make sure to indicate any allergies or intolerances (or preferences) during your registration.
